Oura Ring 5: Design, Features, And Pricing

Health tracking has become increasingly important as people look for better ways to understand their sleep, energy levels, stress, and overall well-being. While many wearables focus on displaying constant notifications and data, smart rings offer a more subtle approach. Designed to work quietly in the background, they help users recognize health patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed. By collecting information throughout the day and night, these devices provide valuable insights without requiring continuous screen interaction.

Introduced in May 2026, Oura Ring 5 is the latest generation of smart ring technology, built for users who want comprehensive health monitoring in a compact and comfortable form factor. Equipped with advanced biosensors, the ring tracks more than 50 health metrics, including sleep quality, activity, recovery, stress levels, heart health, metabolic health, and women’s health. The collected data is analyzed through the Oura app, giving users a clearer understanding of how their body responds to daily habits, exercise, and rest.

The Oura Ring 5 stands out with its smaller, lighter design, making it comfortable enough for continuous wear during sleep, workouts, and everyday activities. Built with a premium titanium exterior, the ring offers durability, water resistance, and up to 6–9 days of battery life on a single charge. It also delivers detailed health insights through features such as Sleep Score, Readiness Score, Heart Rate Variability tracking, cardiovascular monitoring, stress analysis, menstrual cycle tracking, pregnancy insights, and menopause support.

Starting at $399 for Silver and Black finishes and $499 for premium finishes such as Gold, Deep Rose, Stealth, and Brushed Silver, Oura Ring 5 is positioned as a premium wearable health device. Although users must also subscribe to the Oura Membership service for advanced insights and AI-powered features, the ring appeals to those seeking a screen-free, data-driven approach to wellness. By combining advanced health tracking with a discreet jewelry-like design, Oura Ring 5 offers a practical way to stay informed about personal health without constantly checking a smartwatch or smartphone.
