What Helped Me To Pass The CrowdStrike IDP Exam?

I passed the CrowdStrike Certified Identity Specialist exam recently. Just sharing my experience in a simple way.
This exam needed planning. I couldn’t study randomly. The first thing I did was check the IDP official exam objectives. That helped me understand what actually matters. Once I knew the scope, my stress went down. I stopped wasting time on things that were not even tested.
I didn’t study for long hours. I studied a little almost every day. Around one hour. Some days less. That worked better for me than long study sessions. I stayed consistent and didn’t burn out. I focused only on the main topics listed in the exam guide.
Hands-on practice helped me the most, reading alone didn’t work for me. When I started practicing, concepts gradually began to make sense. I didn’t rely on just one source; instead, I used multiple official and trusted resources to build my understanding.
I followed official documentation and YouTube tutorials to understand the core logic and real-world scenarios. Along with that, Study4Exam and CertBoosters PDI exam Practice Questions were extremely useful for me. These practice questions helped me assess my readiness, identify my weak areas, and work on them effectively. By reviewing explanations and revisiting concepts, I was able to clear my gaps and improve my confidence.
With time, I became more comfortable. I wasn’t trying to learn everything. I just wanted to understand how things work in real use. I didn’t memorize anything. When I saw a question, I verified it using docs or practice. These sources helped me understand the question style and find weak areas.
Time management was important. I practiced with a timer. In the beginning, I was slow and overthinking. With practice, my speed improved and I felt less pressure.
Near exam day, I only revised my notes. No new topics. My confidence slowly grew. The exam felt fair and practical. Consistent study, hands-on work, and responsible use of practice questions helped me pass.
Hope this helps someone prepare.
